BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m Head of Marketing and Sales for a new RegTech start-up, RiskSmart. I have another role as Head of Comms for thinkmoney. But I am in the midst of fully moving over to my new role. RiskSmart’s software helps small to medium businesses to manage risk with confidence. We help centralise risk management, whilst the AI driven platform automates processes and provides valuable data, allowing people to focus where needed and make smarter decisions.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fintech Content Ltd?
We reached out to a number of companies to help us prepare a content plan for launching our new business and product. After reviewing the options, Fintech Content Ltd was head and shoulders above the rest.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Deborah’s experience, knowledge and energy worked well alongside our team and we developed a great relationship. Her personality aligned brilliantly with our values and she understood our business from day one. It was clear to see her adaptability with how quickly she started to generate ideas and helped lead the vision for the launch strategy.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We needed to build a content plan for the launch of our new start-up. We were launching a brand, presence and product. Not an easy task. However, Deborah’s experience was pivotal in making it a much easier and enjoyable process. We’d provide briefs to Deborah, giving her an overview of the brand, product and tone of voice. She took these and started to research the industry we were entering. She came back to us with an initial three month content plan. As a first draft, it was awesome We have continued to collaborate on the plan and have now signed off the content plan for launch.
How many resources from the vendor’s team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Just Deborah – multi tasking at an extremely high level. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still pre-launch so I can’t share much right now. We should be launching later this month, so once we have I will update the review with some of the work and provide some metrics to highlight success.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication and timeliness were key to the success of this project. And Fintech Content Ltd understood that and aligned with us from day one. I’m guessing they’re like this with every customer too, but we were impressed. As a start-up we never had the biggest budget, but that wasn’t a concern for Deborah. We were both fully focused on getting maximum value out of the piece of work.. and we did. Communication was clear and constant. All deadlines were met.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Deborah herself. Brilliantly talented at what she does. Humble with a passion for helping others succeed. It was like she was part of our company rather than an agency working with us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not from my experience. We’re still working with them.
